Yesterday, the school was filled with the joy of books!  Throughout the day, the children celebrated reading by 
exploring their favourite stories, thinking about memorable characters and the exciting events that  bring books to life.

They shared their own ideas through storytelling, took  part in buddy reading with other classes, and used their 
Oracy skills to present and discuss their stories with one  another. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm for reading and their confidence in sharing their thoughts.
