    Menus are freshly prepared and, where possible, produce is sourced from local suppliers so you can be sure healthy choices are on offer at lunch times.

    Meals are listed termly and booked via ParentMail. 

    The booking cut off day for school meals is the Monday of the week before the meals are required. 

    Allergens Free School Meals

    ALLERGY INFORMATION: If your child has an allergy or intolerance please ask a member of the catering team for information. You will be asked to complete a form to ensure we have the necessary information to cater to your child. Lactose free, vegetarian and any other dietary requirements can be catered to.

    If you have any questions or queries relating to allergens please do not hesitate to contact the school office. A file containing this information is also available from the school office for viewing.

    Free School Meals

    What are Free School Meals?

    Free school meals are available to children whose parents qualify by meeting the criteria listed.  Children must be in school all day and they will be provided with a meal at lunchtime that is paid for by the school.

    It is very important to us that everyone who qualifies for FSM receives them. All applications are dealt with by Somerset County Council but please do not hesitate to contact the School Office with any queries or questions. 

    How do I qualify?

    Parents/carers who receive any of the following are entitled to free school meals:-

    •Income Support (IS)

    •Employment Support Allowance (income related) – not contribution related

    •Income based Job Seekers Allowance (IBJSA) – not contribution based

    •Guaranteed Element of State Pension Credit

    •Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

    •Child Tax Credit with annual taxable income (as assessed by HMRC) of less than £16,190.

     

    If you are in receipt of Working Tax Credit you are not eligible to receive free school meals.

    How do I apply?

    Please ask for a Free School Meal form at the School Office, this can be completed and returned to the school or can be sent directly to:
