Chalke Valley History Festival

On Monday, Years 5 and 6 enjoyed an exciting visit to the Chalke History Festival, where they took part in a range of immersive World War Two activities.  They experienced the sights and sounds of a trench, before learning how to defuse bombs, handle weapons and send coded messages.

This was a valuable opportunity to handle artefacts, meet historians and re-enactors, and deepen their understanding of wartime Britain. They represented our school brilliantly, showing curiosity, enthusiasm and fantastic behaviour throughout the day.
