Our oldest children visited St. Peter's Church in Hornblotton. This beautiful church holds so much history and the children were fascinated. They were particularly interested to learn about the sgraffito interior, which is incredibly rare, and the first electrical clock in the UK. The children were amazed by this little slice of local history and were grateful to Father Pip and Nigel Blower for taking the time to talk to them about it. This trip was part of our local area study where we will be exploring a range of sources of evidence to see how the local area has changed over time.
