    Ecco Gelato

Our oldest children had a fantastic morning in Sherborne visiting Ecco Gelato, where they were able to develop their Scientific knowledge on states of matter.  The children were able to watch the process of gelato being made and were able to try a range of different flavours, whilst learning about the practical processes behind the development of flavours. The children asked lots of insightful questions and will be able to use this knowledge in their Design and Technology work where they will be designing and making their own ice creams.

    Tag Rugby Tournament

On the 22nd January, Years Five and Six competed in a tag rugby tournament at Ansford Academy. First, our team played against Castle Cary, with a try being scored by Evan, a Year Six pupil. Great effort was seen from everyone, although this match ended up with us losing. During our break, we discussed our formations. Our second match was against Keinton Mandeville, even though we didn’t score, we didn’t give up! During our match against Evercreech, we had tries scored by Harry, William and Oscar. Encouraging words from our captain, kept us going. Whilst we were disappointed not to win, we still had lots of fun!
