In accordance with The Department for Education we aim to actively promote British values, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in our school to ensure that our young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain.
The Key Values are:
Pupils are encouraged to regard people of all faiths, races and cultures with respect and tolerance and understand that while different people may hold different views about what is ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, all people living in England are subject to its law.
We are very aware that our small rural school community is part of a much wider, multicultural nation and we are keen to ensure that our curriculum reflects important and universal British values of inclusion and diversity.
At Lovington Primary we hold firm to the belief that we should live our lives with a moral compass and treat everyone with kindness, respect and dignity. Our British Values go hand in hand with our Christian Values and form the basis of our teaching on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
